U.S.T.R. Grants Exclusion Extensions Through December 31, 2020 on certain List 2 Products China 301 Tariff

The U.S. Trade Representative has approved extensions on products from List 2, Section 301 tariffs that were due to expire on July 31, 2020.  That extension applies to 14 products covered by 5 separate HTS chapters. Effective with respect to entries on or after July 31, 2020 through December 31, 2020 this list of products will continue to be excluded from the China Section 301 tariffs.
 
Please review this list to see if your products are affected.  Importers are responsible for determining whether their product(s) meet the specific description next to the HTS – Harmonized Tariff Schedule.  If your goods qualify for the exclusion, even if you did not request it, and wish to discuss a strategy for requesting retroactive refunds, please contact your local C J representative.
