USTR Announces New List for Proposed Section 301 China Tariffs

One more announcement came out of the office of the U.S. Trade Representative which outlines the proposed modifications of yet another list of approximately $300 billion in Chinese goods. The proposed modification is posted at the USTR web page and includes an annex of the list of proposed products to be affected. This announcement comes on the tail end of the last round of tariff increases, from an additional 10% to 25%, as we previously reported on May 9, 2019.

USTR has requested that interested parties submit their written comments by June 17, 2019. A public hearing date is set for June 17, 2019 and the request to appear must be submitted by June 10, 2019.
